Artist Statement 
I paint big juicy, joyful flowers and foliage. I am fascinated by the shapes, colors, and energy of plants and flowers. I focus mostly on the ones that make my happy - sunflowers, lilies and exotic tropical varieties like hibiscus, orchids, and bromeliads. They are each so jaunty, joyful, flirty, and playful. I've had wonderful conversations with flowers. Each one has a secret story they are willing to share if you only dare to come very close. My aim is to capture ALL of this in my paintings, ultimately to inspire my viewers to experience the best elevated emotions of Joy, Happiness, Love, and Gratitude.
